I see that the Boston Globe, in an article discussing the relatively light number of war wounds in Iraq that have led to death, did not just twist but actually reversed the slant of the article by applying the headline "Amputation rate for US troops twice that of past wars." But no media bias.
Improvements in battlefield medicine have saved many combatants who would have died in the past: Only 1 in 10 US troops injured in Iraq has died, the lowest rate of any war in US history.
