Following up on Tom's observation about liberals' proclivity to talk up causes but not personally help actual humans who need help, I saw this prominent billboard on the New Jersey Turnpike near Newark.
Best I can tell, the American Humanist Society is looking to collect dues, sell books and T-shirts, and buy more billboards to collect more dues and sell more T-shirts. They can say whatever they like and they're free to make a buck, but who is helped by this? What is the cause that is being advanced?
